Message just replaced the lower and upper manifold with two perfect
units. Did so because my old lower manifold was stripped in all
bolt holes and I assumed it was not sealing the gasket
because of this reason.

I installed the two new pieces with all brand new oem gaskets.
transfered over fuel rails but reused the insulators in between
the rails and lower manifold. I seem to have a boost leak when
pressurizing the intake system that seems likes its coming from
the center of the manifold but I cant seem to find it.

It is a slow leak as the intake system will hold the pressure
and i can boost about 14psi on low boost. haven't been able
to monitor boost close enough to watch it drop off but I am
sure it does as I can hear the pshhhhh sound on testing.

I can see the plenum gasket sticking out around all the edges
of the two mating surfaces so I cant imagine it to be the
cause. What else could be leaking and is there a definitive way
to check what is leaking. I assume spraying water and looking
for bubbles will be the only way, but hard to aim water down
in the manifold mating area precisely.
